It is with a heavy heart and a heavy soul that we beseech you to bring your saving touch to Rhoda Sufi Garden, and help us bloom again. We need your support, urgently!

 

To continue operating this space and providing community services for 2025, we need to raise an upwards of $300,000.

At the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, we have been forced to consider selling this building without having enjoyed the fruit of our love and labour.

Rhoda Foundation has been a Muslim-led and volunteer-run for a decade. Since 2019, the community has invested a lot of love, effort, time, and capital into buying the Rhoda Foundation building, making it a fully-functional, beautiful, and versatile space for spiritual and community development. Selling the building would not only be a financial loss, but the loss of a community cornerstone and an essential third space for our members.

 

We are a pioneer project in transition, offering an opportunity for you to invest in. Your investment into the Rhoda Foundation is an investment in Canada’s future generations.

We have a strategic business and marketing model planned for the future where we can become a self-sustainable community space. We recently finished a year-long renovation period to beautify this building, to provide more facilities and programs, bring in robust revenues within a year and become self-sustainable in all our activities.​

In these times of uncertainty and division, we believe spaces like the Rhoda Foundation are more important than ever. We’re creating a place where people of all backgrounds - regardless of ethnicity, culture, identity, or faith - can come together to explore shared values, celebrate diversity, and co-create a more welcoming and connected neighbourhood.

 

Through art, culture, music, and spirituality, we’re fostering a space that feels like a “living museum” of community spirit.
