Your support means a lot to us. We aim to be transparent with you about how we plan to use your financial help and keep you updated on our progress!
OUR SERVICES
Our goal is to continue providing these services and facilities for personal and spiritual development for all ages - from children to senior citizens, from all backgrounds. We also plan on expanding our services and facilities to other minority communities - including Indigenous Peoples, immigrants, settlers and others - who we recently introduced to our space through our events.
The Rhoda Foundation supports community members by:

Helping them find spiritual guidance, meaning and belonging

Providing a prayer and community gathering space

Supporting families with developmental programs and services

Providing a daycare facility for working families

Hosting a Yemeni restaurant with a commercial kitchen
We have some new and existing projects planned for Spring, Summer & Fall 2025:

The Rumi Cup: A community cafe, event venue, art gallery, and co-working space for all - in one destination. The Rumi Cup plans to organize its own artistic and cultural programming and collaborative events for the general public.

Cultural, Musical & Art Programs: A roster of world-renowned artists leading our spiritual and cultural performances such as Sema Nights, Musical Mehfils and Nuits Blanches.

Centre Éducatif Floraison: A fully-functional daycare and after-school childcare facility.

Alchemya Bookstore & Library: Launched during the sacred month of Ramadan in March 2025.

Growing in Love: A weekly signature program that is welcoming to all ages to build and foster community across generations.

Child & Youth Development Programs: Various family-friendly programs that encourage child and youth skill and personality development.

Zahra Ecological Farm: Environmental-friendly programs that teach community members from all ages to sow, nurture and grow food gardens.

Community Kitchen & Community Development Projects to continue serving community members in need.

Maintaining the facility that houses Rhoda Sufi Garden, Centre Éducatif Floraison, and the Rumi Cup - including beautification of the premises
